• Joke Jar:  Please find an appropriate joke for our Joke Jar.  These jokes can come from the internet with help from your parents. You can also find jokes in books, or write a good one you know.  Write it on a small scrap of paper.  When we need to laugh, we draw out a joke and the author reads it to the class.

• Sentences:  A sentence is a group of words that tells a complete idea.  The words are in an order that makes sense.  A sentence begins with a capital letter.  Many sentences end with a period.  On the back of this paper, write 3 original sentences about yourself.  Remember to start with a capital and end with a period, question mark, or exclamation mark.

• Number Bonds of 10: Write all of the number bonds of ten on the back of this paper.  Example:10= 9+1
